Receiving massage can be beneficial at all stages of pregnancy. It is perhaps most needed and useful during the second and third trimesters, right up to and including active labor in many instances. It has been my honor to have had this work be part of practice for the last 16 years. I use a special table aid for mid- and late-stage pregnancy that can allow an expecting mother to be face down safely and comfortably. This positioning can allow access to the lumbosacral area of the low back, which is often a point of stress that massage can address. Consult your birthing professional prior to your first visit.
Sessions are booked at the same rates as listed for therapeutic massage.
